Ignite is a program developed by the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). Ignite aims to inspire post-secondary students to explore opportunities within the Communications Technology industry and facilitate interaction between students, educators and industry professionals. It serves as an entry point for students to gain exposure to the industry, connect with educators and industry members for networking and mentoring, and explore job opportunities.

The Solution
The Ignite website has a simplified layout designed for easy navigation and engagement. Using a single-page scroll format, the Ignite website breaks up information in bite-sized chunks and encourages exploration through drop downs and call to action buttons.
The website serves as a comprehensive hub for defining what a career in communication technology looks like. It provides industry information, a jobs board, and career tools to support users in their professional endeavors. Clear calls-to-action sprinkled throughout the site prompts students to take the next steps in applying for jobs, while educators and industry members are invited to become ambassadors.

At the top of the page, users can find a set of filters to easily navigate through the various roles, especially if they're unfamiliar with industry terms or job titles. Below the filters is a clickable list of Communications Technology industry members, each linked to a pop-up displaying their biography and work history.
